Mobile Nail Services Policy & Terms of Service

1. Service Scope & Travel Radius

Desrivieres Destiny, LLC provides mobile, in-home nail care specializing exclusively in structured natural nail health, builder gel, hard gel enhancements, and custom hand-crafted press-on systems.

  • Maximum Service Radius: Services are strictly limited to locations within 20 miles of our primary business location in Mount Vernon / Alexandria, VA.

  • Distance Calculation: Distance is calculated using Google Maps based on the client's provided residential address at the time of booking request.

2. Travel Fee Tiers

Travel fees cover technician transit time, mobile equipment loading/setup labor, and vehicle operation. Travel fees are separate from and added to your total service menu cost.

  • 0 - 5 Miles: $25

  • 6 - 10 Miles: $35

  • 11 - 15 Miles: $50

  • 16 - 20 Miles: $65

Parking & Tolls: Clients are responsible for ensuring accessible parking (driveway, designated visitor spot, or street parking). Any garage parking tariffs, meter fees, or toll charges incurred will be added directly to the final invoice balance.

3. In-Home Service Setup & Requirements

To ensure a safe, sanitary, and flawless gel application, clients must prepare the following prior to the technician's arrival:

  1. Table & Space: A clean, flat table (dining table or large desk) with two comfortable chairs in a well-lit, temperature-controlled area.

  2. Power Outlet: Proximity to a standard grounded outlet to power professional LED curing lamps and workspace lighting.

  3. Environment Control:

    • Pets: All pets must be kept in a separate room for the entire duration of the service to maintain a dust and hair-free environment essential for smooth gel curing.

    • Children: Children must be under the care of another adult in the home during the service.

4. Booking, Deposits & Payments

  • Non-Refundable Deposit: A 50% deposit (applied toward your final service total) is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment.

  • Accepted Payment Methods: Payments are processed securely via Square checkout accepting Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and CashApp.

  • Final Payment: The remaining balance, along with applicable travel fees and incurred parking costs, is due immediately upon service completion.

5. Cancellation, Late Arrival & Rescheduling

  • Notice Period: Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be submitted at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.

  • Late Cancellations: Appointments cancelled or rescheduled under 24 hours will forfeit the 50% deposit.

  • Arrival Window: Due to potential traffic conditions, please allow a 15-minute arrival window from your scheduled start time.

  • Client Delays: If the client is not ready within 15 minutes of technician arrival, a $25 late fee will apply. Appointments are cancelled after 20 minutes, resulting in deposit forfeiture.

6. Health & Sanitation Standards

  • Sanitation: All reusable metal tools undergo hospital-grade multi-step sterilization. Nail files and buffers are single-use disposable items.

  • Nail Integrity: We prioritize long-term natural nail plate integrity. We do not use e-files or diamond bits on the natural nail plate.

  • Skin & Nail Health: Services will not be performed on compromised, fungal, or open-wounded nails or skin. If an infection is identified upon arrival, service will be halted for safety, and the deposit remains non-refundable.
